Dates are tentative. The CFTC usually publishes on Friday at 3:30 p.m. Eastern Time using positions from the previous Tuesday. Federal holidays can delay publication by one or two days; starred dates in the official schedule are labeled here as holiday-adjusted.

Why the two dates matter

A normal Friday report describes positions held at Tuesday’s close. Calling Friday the data date makes the snapshot appear three days newer than it is. COT Screener labels the position date throughout the product.

Tentative means tentative
